Warsaw Uprising - first battle

 Debut of my Warsaw Uprising army. We have played simple Sectors scenario: quite typical for the Warsaw struggles. Against insurgents there were Luftwaffe platoon acompanied by heavy weapon section and PzIV tank.

KEDYW as well as Militia did their job well. The Germans were decimated and forced to retreat. It was great fun!

The city terrain was collected for few years and ... I belive we have use less than a half of the terrain pieces. The most of the elements including details as ice cream cart came from the Balck Grom Studio range. 

The insurgants figures came from Jamie Tranter kickstarter and some other ranges of Wargames foundry, Artizan, Warlord Games and Crusader Miniatures. 

 

Warsaw Uprising - pillbox

Here we have piece of terrain for my Warsaw Uprising project. Originally designed as a british safehouse (for expected german invasion) this Sarissa made pillbox (set of three) will - for sure - fancify my Uprising gameboard.

Thanks to delicate engraving model looks great. Additionally we have removable roof and opening door that atract usage. It seems that it was very good purchase.
