Operacja Crusader (symultana) - relacja

 

1 sierpnia 2020 rozegraliśmy kolejną symultanę historyczną. Tym razem grający na trzech stołach byli uczestnikami Operacji Crusader mającej na celu odblokowanie Tobruku przez wojska Brytyjskie. Graliśmy według zasad zamieszczonych tutaj.

Kluczowe lokacje to Sidi Rezegh gdzie miało nastąpić przełamanie frontu Osi, Tobruk, gdzie obrońcy twierdzy mieli nie dopuścić do jej zajęcia przez DAK, oraz lotnisko el Adem gdzie śmiała akcja LRDG miała wyeliminować z walki wsparcie lotnicze sił Osi.

Warsaw Uprising - first battle

 Debut of my Warsaw Uprising army. We have played simple Sectors scenario: quite typical for the Warsaw struggles. Against insurgents there were Luftwaffe platoon acompanied by heavy weapon section and PzIV tank.

KEDYW as well as Militia did their job well. The Germans were decimated and forced to retreat. It was great fun!

The city terrain was collected for few years and ... I belive we have use less than a half of the terrain pieces. The most of the elements including details as ice cream cart came from the Balck Grom Studio range. 

The insurgants figures came from Jamie Tranter kickstarter and some other ranges of Wargames foundry, Artizan, Warlord Games and Crusader Miniatures.
